The Bardo Foundation Relaunches the Osteosarcoma Now Clinical Trial Explorer
In July 2025, The Bardo Foundation proudly took on the management of Osteosarcoma Now, recognising its importance as a trusted global resource for the osteosarcoma community.
Since then, one of our priorities has been to transform the Clinical Trial Explorer into a more powerful, accessible and sustainable resource for patients, families and healthcare professionals.
Today, we are delighted to relaunch the platform following a significant redevelopment.
Using AI, the Clinical Trial Explorer now automatically processes clinical trial data to produce patient-friendly summaries, making complex information easier to understand while helping to ensure the platform remains accurate and up to date as new trials become available.
The redevelopment has been led by an incredible team of Bernardo's friends, whose passion, expertise and commitment have helped bring this vision to life. For us, this project represents far more than a technology upgrade. It is a reflection of our commitment to putting the heart of Bernardo into everything we do.
Bernardo believed that every child and young person diagnosed with osteosarcoma deserved hope. By making clinical trial information easier to find and easier to understand, we hope to support more informed conversations between patients, families and healthcare professionals, while helping more people discover opportunities to participate in research where appropriate.
The updated platform allows users to search global osteosarcoma clinical trials by location, age, recruitment status, treatment type and trial phase, all through an intuitive, easy-to-use interface.
As with everything we do at The Bardo Foundation, this project has been driven by collaboration, innovation and a determination to improve outcomes for everyone affected by osteosarcoma.
